On Wednesday Dec 30th, a pro government rally held in Tehran. An estimation of the number of people attending the rally is done based on a photo by isna news agency and the area of the region were the rally happened. The area is calculated by the Google Earth software. The area of the region is 30000 square meter and given the degree of sparseness of people in the isna photo, the estimated number of people attending the rally is 20000 people.

I should add that the rally was held in the Enghelab square which is a small square in comparison to many other bigger squares in Tehran. The government would have had no hope of gathering enough people to fill up those squares.

1. There were no danger for people to attend the rally (no beating with batons, gun shots, tear gas, etc). Instead they distributed fruit juice among the demonstrators.
2. The government had ordered the governmental companies to let people attend the rally. Many of the businesses belong to government. So people were not stuck at work.
3. The square were the rally was held was very easy to access from various parts of Tehran.
4. Everybody would know about it because it was advertised on the national TV and newspapers.

Given all these facts, 20`000 is the number of pro-government people in Tehran, including the Basij and the Sepah members! We have not considered the fact that the government has brought many people from other cities. Tehran`s population is 13`000`000 peaple!

Another interesting photo which has spread into internet is a screen shot of the national TV showing the rally. They usually show close views on TV to disguise the fact that they have few supporters, but apparently the camera man has made a mistake showing a top view. Judge for yourself:


Another point of this image is that the men and women are not walking together. Hence, they are not families. They are the Basij and Sepah members and people paid by the government to attend the shows! The government barely has supporters among the normal citizens.

The emergence of another Taliban and request from a international society

I would like to make a statement from the Iranian nation to the foreign authorities, the policy makers and heads of the western countries, and the people who take care of human rights.

Reading the report of the Times on the Reza's story, which devastates every colded-hard brought up this question into my mind:

"What is the difference between the current Iranian government and leader and the Taliban?"

By the government and the leader, I refer to Khamenei, Ahmadinejad, Jannati, Mesbah Yazdi, and the people whom they have brought into power.

• Internal affairs: With regards to their brutal violence towards Iranian citizens, how far have they gone? How much further should day go before they are known as international criminals?

• International affairs: With regards to the international relations, isn't it that they are seeking to make nuclear weapons to ride their horse unstoppably? Isn't that they fund Hamas, Hezbollah, Terrorists in Iraq, and other terrorists? Would the people, who rape a 15-year-old innocent teenage boy like that show any mercy and respect for humanity when it comes to the international society? How about the people who order these crimes?

When I read this story I tried to bear in mind that it is not a Hollywood movie! It has happened in reality and probably at this instance it is happening again!
Yet it is hard to comprehend for me that how and why a human can commit such actions!

-- How are they capable of such crimes?
Whether it is for money, for their beliefs, or whether they are mentally sick we don't know. Probably it is all of these factors that contribute to such brutal inhuman violent crimes; but whatever causes it, it is this powerful to allow them do this to a helpless child!

-- A REQUEST: Why wait?
Another Taliban is emerging. They are international criminals. We hereby request you to openly state this fact and take the legal actions to add the Iranian authorities to the Interpol black list! This is the least that can be done against them: Clearly and legally stating the truth!

I say no to Nokia

I will never buy Nokia cellphones and other products, because of their support for censorship in Iran.

I say no to Nokia for they have disconnected my people and helped those who are against the democracy movement there!

آیا این نمایشنامه ی اختلاف کودتا چیان برای تولید اخبار بی ارزش و پر کردن رسانه ها از آنها نیست؟ با انحراف فضای خبری، تمرکز مردم (به اصطلاح معترضین) از اخبار مهم به هم خورده و انسجام آن ها کم می شود. گویی آنها با منحرف کردن اذهان شعار نترسیم ما همه با هم هستیم را هدف قرار داده اند. اگرکسی به کودتا اعتراض نکرده با کودتا چیان است و چه کسی باور می کند بعد از این بحران های کودتا چیان برای حفظ قدرت، و طرفداری های مستقیم خامنه ای از احمدی نژادِ، کسانی دست بوس رهبری از درون جناح اصولگرا در این شرایط به انتقاد از احمدی نژاد بپردازند.

آیا کودتاچیان می خواهند ذهن مردم را منحرف کنند و تمرکز آنها را به هم بزنند.

آیا کودتاچیان می خواهند به مردم امید خام بدهند که اصولگرایان از درون دچار اختلاف هستند؟

سقوط و مشکل فنی ۳ هواپیما و تصادف قطار ها در۱ هفته

این اتفاقات به چه احتمالی ظرف ۱ هفته می افتند؟ و آیا این از رژیمی که چنان ناجوانمردانه می زند، می کشد، زندانی می کند، شکنجه می دهد، تجاوز می کند و دروغ می گوید بعید است؟

آیا این اتفاقات نیز برای انحراف اذهان عمومی یا به قولی پرت کردن حواس آنها نیست؟

و یا شاید برای نا امید کردن و افسرده کردن مردم؟ خاتمی، کروبی ، و موسوی با ایجاد شور و هیجان انتخاباتی به مردم امید به آینده دادند تا آنها با هم متحد شوند. آیا راه از بین بردن این هیجان و امید، ایجاد افسردگی نیست؟ انسان افسرده گوشه گیر است و امیدی به تغییر وضعیت ندارد.

به راستی کودتا چیان چه قدر در پیشبرد اهدافشان موفق بوده اند؟

راهکارهای پیشنهادی:

با هم یک صدا فریاد بزنیم که ما نا امید نشده ایم. ما استوار ایستاده ایم و گول نقشه های شوم شما را نمی خوریم.

اخبار مربوط به بازیهای اصولگرایان را منتشر نکنیم .

هنگام انتشار اخبار فجایع ناگوار، به خواننده یاد آوری کنیم که نا امید نشود و در پشت این جنایات دستان کثیف کودتا چیان برای رسیدن به اهداف شومشان نهفته است.

جرا انتخابات را تحریم نمی کنم

هنوز هم حرف هایی از تحریم زده می شود. از اینکه ما این نظام را تاپپد نمی کنیم و همه شان عین هم هستند. از اینکه این ملت هر چه قدر سختی بکشند باز هم امید بی بنیان دارند. و بسی حرف دیگر.

اتقلاب ایران برای رسبدن به دموکراسی بود. اگر این مهم هنوز تحقق نیافته در جهت رسبدن به آن حرکت کرده ابم. و هتوز باید در جهت رسیدن به آن تلاش کنیم. سه راه برای تغییر حکومت وجود دارد: قدرت خارجی (مانند آنچه در عراق و افغانستان رخ داد)- انقلاب - اصلاح. اصلاح طلبان راه سوم در پیش گرفته اند. در حالی که نیرو های طرفدار رهبری سعی در پررنگ تر کردن اسلامیت نظام در مقابل جمهوریت آن هستند اصلاح طلبان سعی در قوی کردن جمهوریت آن هستند.

در این میان اصلاح طلبان به حمایت مردم در مقابل اقلیت بسیجی و البته تقلب نیازمند هستند. به علاوه حضور مردم در انتخابات جهت تحقق دموکراسی لاینفک است. دموکراسی به حکومتی اطلاق می شود که دارای ۴ رکن باشد :(منبع۱)
انتخابات آزاد و سالم- رعایت حقوق بشر- برابری همه در برابر قانون - و مردمی که فعالانه در سیاست شرکت می کنند. حضور مردم در اتتخابات جزیی از دموکراسی است.

تحریم باعث قدرت گرفتن مخالفین جمهوریت نظام و دموکراسی می شود. مخالفین جمهوریت نظام و دموکراسی با نامید کردن مردم از انتخابات سعی در حذف آنها دارند برای مثال سعی دارند القا کنند که نتیجه انتخابات از حالا مشخص است - سعی در نامید کردن مردم از اصلاح طلبان را دارند و راه های ارتباط آنها را با قطع می کنند. برای رسیدن/نزدیک شدن به دموکراسی انتخابات را تحریم نمی کنم.
